ahhh!!! it was so awesome meeting you. i can understand how it can get frustrating and also feeling a little homesick…just remember what you’re doing is such an incredible experience that most people can’t even imagine doing. you’ve stepped out of your comfort zone to achieve your dreams. i’m totally jealous and hoping that one day i can make it happen in my life too. you’re an inspiration to matt and me!!

ps…it’s my first day back at my terrible desk job and it’s raining. i want sun and diving back in my life!

Liz: well, yes, it is very important. I was pleased to hear that a lot of the DMs and instructors in my shop were all impressed with the difficult rescue I did yesterday (on the next post). So that is good. I’m not getting all pompous or anything, but I thought it was f*cking terrible, and difficult and hard and that I failed. But, apparently the surge was really bad, (duh) and everyone said that it was really impressive that I didn’t give up. So, that’s good. I am pleased with the result, after all.

Well, I’d like to clarify. I don’t want to decompress – at all. I don’t want to come up so fast, EVER, but this time was unavoidable. I don’t want to get decompression sickness. EVER.
