Bleeding Kansas in SD

Okay, so I’ve raved about Esther’s theatre company before, and I’m about to do it again. Skip if you don’t totally care… Regardless, they’re doing BLEEDING KANSAS and it looks great. It’s fairly timely (about politics) and it looks great. I’ve been reading about the background work the cast has been doing and about the building of sets, etc, so I know I might be more excited about it than others, but… whatevs.

I am going this coming Sunday, after I do a crazy 1/2 mile swim in Mission Bay (cheer me on! Come at 7am!! Ha.), and then have a Bloody Mary at the Ivy in the Gaslamp. MMMMMMMMMM. Anyway, here’s a link for a review of it:

Better times for my swims!!

So, as you know, I did a triathlon in August of last year, one in October and one this past Sunday at Disney’s California Adventure. The one in August was in the UK, in FREEZING cold water, and it was an Olympic distance relay – for the swim that’s almost a mile. Holy cow! The ones since then have been 750 meters, which is a sprint-distance swim.

In October, in San Diego, the water was warmer than the UK, but my swim time was 27:29. The entire thing is here:
