As a blogger, this blog has been around since late 2004. Only that early part is no longer online, only on a DVD – it was a hacking victim. I used the blog to update my family and friends in the States, as I was on a trip and didn’t know when I’d be coming home!

I like to explore dive sites around the world, and explore cocktail sites around my city. If you know of ones you’d like to suggest, please drop a line. I’ve been diving and drinking in places as far flung as Khao Lak, Thailand, and St. Petersburg, Russia – you can decide what I did where. I will say that warm water diving is the best.

Lately I haven’t blogged much (okay, that’s an understatement), but I promise to get back into the swing of things. Especially with a move back to Seattle on the horizon! Keep an eye out for cocktail reports from Seattle. Scuba in Seattle? Not so much.

I’ve recently taken on the insane sport of cycling, and I love it. I’ve put over 600 miles on the new-to-me bike I bought in September 2010 and have done 4 centuries since then. Perhaps the blog should be renamed to “Drink ‘n’ Dive ‘n’ Cycle.”
