thoughts and uncertainties…

I’m not sure I want to be back. Wait, I don’t want to be back.
Clarification: I like my life here, but I’m not sure HOW MUCH I like it here. I don’t hate my job (which I know is unusual), and I have a pretty good life. I just think that if I want to do a diving lifestyle, I should do it sooner than later. I mean, there are several quotes that go well here… “no time like the present.” “You’re not getting any younger.” “Just do it.”
It will take some time, but I will evaluate. My friend Fi gave me some great advice in the following:
Listen to your gut, it’ll tell you what you need to do. If the comforts of home outweigh the travel itch, you’ll have your answer. If the comforts of home don’t outweigh the itch, plan and then follow it.
So, now you know as much as I know…
I think you do have to follow your dream, if you realize you’d rather be anywhere but home. Just make sure you have a good plan and if your plan is not feasible, certainly wait until you can make it work so that you’re both happy and stable. I think it’s important to make sure you feel fulfilled no matter what your dream is, but also to be able to sustain yourself.
It’s good to have dreams and if you can make them a reality then go for it. BUT be advised that there are LOTS of people here who would miss you
Your friend Fi offered some great advice but just make sure that if you are going to make that change that it is well thought out and not too impulsive. (Gee, I sound like a grown-up…ugh!) Either way, you have my support

Like the NIKE slogan – Just do it!! Seriously I’ll pray that you will follow the right decision
