An Earthquake!
Apr 1st, 2006 by No-L
So, there was an earthquake this afternoon, about 6.02pm, I guess. It was at 10.02 GMT. It was a pretty long one, and it was a big one – 6.1. At least, that’s a big one to me! The building kinda did a rocking motion, like a boat, and was centered at a place that we are going next week. I felt like it went on forever!!
But we’re all okay, and rode it out. Along with the aftershocks. Woo! Apparently Charles and Laura had been talking about how this was “earthquake country” earlier in the day. Linda said they weren’t to talk about anything else for now. Otherwise it might happen!

Leave it to you, Noelle, to be part of a countrywide (continentwide?) event, everywhere you go!
Cool photos, esp. Buddha.
More, please – photos and adventures by Noelle . . .
Be careful out there, sweetie. I love you and can’t wait to see you when you get back. Literally. Kisses.
LOVE all the pics of the food…can’t tell you what the thing you won’t eat is though…my guess is some kind of pork part…am I right?
Kuanster – yeppers, you are correct!! Icky-poo!!
FYI – this quake thing is NOT an April Fool’s Joke!! Promise!
Noelle,
Wow! I’ll tell them at the Mission Committee meeting of the presbytery tonight that you all are shaking things up over there!
Your blog is fun to read. Thanks for all of the posts.
